Welcome to the Plastic Surgeon forums

In order to keep the forums running well and to prevent problems, please follow these simple rules for the forums here. If you have any questions or problems, please feel free to contact one of the Staff Members.

Moderation

All posts to the Plastic Surgeon forums will be placed into a moderation queue before they are publicly visible on the forums. Once the post has been reviewed and accepted by a member of the Plastic Surgeon administration team the post will be released onto the public forum.

The Plastic Surgeon team shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not qualify as an acceptable post.


General Rules

1. While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts. Our decision is final in these matters.

2. Please refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) non-sense posts, or the such.

3. Multiple or repeated posting in order to increase your post count is not allowed.

4. Advertising, spamming and trolling is not allowed.

5. Please wait a reasonable amount of time before bumping posts. For general 'how-to' questions this should be 24 hours.

6. We also do not allow posts that are sexual in nature or violate Plastic Surgeon community standards. The Plastic Surgeon team shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards.

7. Discussion of illegal activities are not allowed.

8. Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed.

9. We will not tolerate blatant adverts.

10. We reserve the right to remove offensive posts without notice.

11. While these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.

12. We reserve the right to ban anyone who wilfully violates the forum rules, as access to the Plastic Surgeon forums are a privilege and not a right.

Any threads/posts of these types will be deleted.


Advertising Services and Solicitation

We do not allow people to post threads that advertise or solicit any products, services, funds or donations.

You should never give out your Plastic Surgeon forum user name or password to anyone. We can not take responsibility if you disclose this information to anyone else.

Links

Linking to a commercial product/service is fine, provided it is not a product or service that competes with a product or service offered by Plastic Surgeon.

A link and promotional text for a site that is not commercial and does not contain product(s) and/or service(s) is allowed, provided the site is not sexual or does not violate Plastic Surgeon community standards.

The Plastic Surgeon team shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards. (Examples include sites about drugs and/or sex.)


Avatars

Animated avatars are not allowed.

Avatars that may be confused with official staff avatars are not allowed.
