Before you start your damage assessment

Please find some of the more frequently asked questions about the repair services offered by the Plastic Surgeon listed below.

Can you repair the damage to my worktop, bath, etc?

Without sending one of our fine finishers round to investigate the damage to your item it is very difficult to answer this question. We appreciate that no-one likes to wait in for a tradesman to turn up, especially if it’s only to say that the damage is too extensive, so we offer you this free service to save you some time.  Please try and provide as much detail about the damage as possible, this will help us to make an accurate assessment.

How long will I have to wait for a finisher to arrive?

Once an order is placed with our Customer Service Team it will be dispatched electronically to the assigned finisher for your area. The finisher will then make contact with you to arrange an appointment. We don’t schedule the appointments from head office as our finishers’ have local knowledge of the area and can better judge the distance, route and traffic. Our aim is to provide an appointment time that is convenient for you and is also one that our finisher can actually make.

We try our best to make an appointment within two working days of the order being placed. Our average response time from order to work completion is seven working days.

We do not offer any guarantees on these timescales as a large part of the order and appointment process involves our finisher contacting the occupier of the property to arrange a mutually convenient time and then gaining access to the property.

What happens if you turn up and can't repair the damage?

Unfortunately we can’t offer any guarantees that we will be able to repair your item even after the online assessment process. If you have been through the online assessment process then we will not charge you any call out fee if our finisher arrives and your item is beyond repair.

How much does a repair cost?

As we are a nationwide company and different promotions may be running in different areas at any one time its not possible for us to have an online price list. Our pricing structure is based on an initial callout fee and then an additional fee for every hour thereafter. For more information and details of pricing in your area please complete the online damage assessment or phone our customer service team.
