With more and more people choosing the sustainable route of repairing rather than replacing damaged construction materials, it is inevitable that they are going to need the services of companies such as Plastic Surgeon, which can repair anything from a cracked basin to scratches in kitchen worktops.

Such is the success of the company that it has taken on three new employees to join its ever growing team of finishers – two north of the Border, and one who will be based in Plastic Surgeon’s Field Base East.

Derek Whitefield has been appointed as Regional Operations Manager in Scotland. He brings with him 10 years project management experience working in various sectors across the construction industry. While he started his career working in shop fitting, as a trainee project manager for Novograf LTD, for the last three years he worked with Moores Furniture Group as Regional Installation Manager.

Graeme Campbell has taken on the position as Field Sales Scotland, and he spent almost five years working as area sales rep covering the west of Scotland for Encon Insulation, selling insulation and associated products to the housing and commercial sectors. He also spent two years working as contract sales manager for SGB Mastclimbers, providing rented, high level access platforms to new build and refurbishment construction projects.

Kevin Edwards has joined the Plastic Surgeon team as Field Sales East, but before this he worked in construction sales for over 10 years starting at Marcrist International Diamond blades, selling to construction companies as well as builder and tool hire merchants. He also worked for large companies including Birchwood construction supplies, while his last position was as area sales manager for Marley Eternit Ltd.

All three are, naturally, delighted to have secured their positions with Plastic Surgeon, which has a good reputation for staff retention, as well as for training its finishers to the highest of standards.

Kevin Edwards sums up the trio’s feelings when he said: “I’m pleased to be joining Plastic Surgeon because it is an exciting vibrant company that is only going to get bigger, and underline its position as the market leader with the reputation for outstanding service and quality, as well as having the most skilled personnel in the trade.”
