Housing Innovation Award winners

House-win-logo-webCreated to recognise innovative and creative schemes and services for the UK housing sector, Plastic Surgeon took the newly created title of Most Innovative Sub-Contractor for the work and services its UK-wide team of Finishers provide to house builders, developers, housing associations and local authorities in repairing a wide range of damaged surfaces across new build and refurbishment projects nationwide.

Plastic Surgeon has previously taken a BIFM Award and National Recycling Award in 2011 and followed it up last year by being named as the winner of the Construction News Specialist Contractor Award in 2012.
According to Plastic Surgeon MD Rob Mouser, industry accolades such as the Housing Innovation Awards are a positive reflection of the work that the company is doing.

“Given the size of the market and the wealth of really talented sub-contractors providing a truly diverse range of services into the housing sector, we are delighted to have received this award.

“We are already working with many of the UK’s leading house builders on new build sites and increasingly with local authorities and housing associations repairing a wide range of surfaces and materials – such as internal and external doors, bath panels, shower trays, kitchen work surfaces, brick and block work, fascias, glass and metal surfaces.

“The work we do saves the housing sector from having to rip out and replace damaged items and sending them unnecessarily to landfill – saving them time and money – and is really starting to make an impression in the market and we are delighted that the services that we provide across the UK have been recognised in this way,” said Rob.
