"As 2010 draws to a close, many people will be breathing a sigh of relief that they have survived one of the most crippling recessions in living memory.
The construction industry has seen a number of high profile casualties; while lending conditions have made the recovery slower than it possibly needed to be.
Business for us began to recover earlier this year, and our finishers were busy as house builders worked to complete as many handovers as possible before their year end. Then the fact we have recruited and trained 38 new staff is very much indicative of our steady growth and success.
Now we are inceasingly being called in to undertake repeat work for social housing and commercial clients, as well as being very active in the education and retail sectors. We have even formed a relationship with one of the major insurance companies to carry out repairs where they might previously have paid for new. At the same time, we are helping both large organisations and individuals make their budgets stretch further.
So just as our recruitment of new finishers is offering steady employment and training, the work they do is also environmentally friendly. In respect of this, our VisibilITy initiative has been very well received, with ever more clients looking to take it up so that they can monitor the amount of waste they are saving.
Overall, Plastic Surgeon's professional and innovative approach to providing a repair service sets us aside from the competition, and makes me very optimistic about our future."
