Wooden hallway floor repair

Plastic Surgeon received an order to repair 32 sq metres of flooring in a hallway that had 6 rooms and a staircase leading off it, which we had to allow access to at all times. Our Finisher carried out the repairs to the chips and dents caused by a large picture falling from half way up the stairs. The homeowner had also badly scratched the floor in many in areas whilst cleaning up. We divided the hallway and completed the repairs section by section, so access to rooms was always available. Over 3 days, the floor was sanded back, colour matched, given 2 lacquer coats, and then allowed to dry. The homeowner commented: "the floor looks better than when it was first laid."
