A quick thinking stone repair by a Finisher from our north west region, helped a main contractor prepare for an important site inspection recently. The flagship housing development was due to be inspected by directors and shareholders, prior to handover.
Unfortunately, someone had cut back the string courses ready for metal downpipes to be fitted, more than a foot away from the correct position, leaving an unsightly hole.
Our Finisher carried out temporary repairs, to create an illusion of intact stonework, so that everything looked pristine for the handover. He then returned at a later date to carry out a permanent repair.
