We love to work with our insurance clients to run informative, hands on workshops to demonstrate the breadth of our restoration services.
We are delighted to have recently launched our training workshops to our insurance clients. The purpose of the workshops is to educate about the work that we at Plastic Surgeon can do, to ensure we are constantly promoting the restoration vs replace message.
The workshops are open to a whole range of people working for our insurance clients, from claims handlers to complaints managers. Those attending are invited to our head office in Devon where they spend a full day with our team, and are trained in a number of areas, from an explanation of colour theory and colour matching to a practical session where they can actually have a go at colour matching detail, learning from the very best – The Plastic Surgeon finishers.
Head of insurance Chris Edwards explains further: “There is nothing better than seeing first-hand the variety of work that we do, and how we do it. It really gives our clients, the insight and basic knowledge to enable them to advise and explain to their policy holders in more detail, when a claim is received”.
“It also ensures that those dealing day to day with claims, understand the variety and complexity of what exactly can be restored as only 16% of items that we see are un-repairable. We believe that with better knowledge, more items could be restored rather than replaced, driving down cycle times and cost, increasing customer satisfaction ratings and lessening our impact on the environment”.
“We are really passionate about providing full support and training for all of our clients. The work that we carry out is highly specialised yet so effective, with full training it ensures a very positive outcome for all”.
