Our project managed restoration service continues to grow in popularity as insurers realise the benefits of a repair-first approach
Many insurers are realising the benefits of the restoration services we provide and can see the huge value on offer by involving us as early in the process as possible.
As our insurance division continues to grow we’re working on an increasing number of challenging high net worth and large loss claims.
For large scale projects, often led by a loss adjuster or surveyor, we act as a specialist consultant, providing advice on what can and cannot be repaired.
Some projects require us to be on-site for a number of weeks while a whole host of different surfaces are being restored. We provide a dedicated project manager to oversee all the required work and make sure the project remains on time and within the agreed budget.
Our fully managed service, with a strong focus on restoration, offers a cost-effective solution for insurers and a quicker, hassle-free resolution for the customer.
A policy holder’s period property had been badly damaged. Black gloss paint – notoriously difficult to remove – had caused extensive damage to their solid wood kitchen and original tiled floor with additional damage throughout the ground floor of the property.
The loss adjuster who led the project had spoken to a number of specialist restoration firms and all, having viewed the property, were unable to provide a solution, other than complete strip out, and replacement.
One of our senior insurance finishers inspected the damage and was confident we could help. The Plastic Surgeon team were able to repair all the damage, providing an alternative solution at a fraction of the cost and time of replacement.
Sometimes replacement is inevitable, but wherever possible we look for an alternative solution. Not only does this reduce costs and increase sustainability but it also helps to retain original features in unique, period properties. Find out more about our whole range of insurance services.
