Mann Island, Liverpool. £16,800,000 development by BAM Construction
A very large project and indicative of our capacity. This involved fine finishing across apartment blocks, retail spaces, restaurants and offices.During Plastic Surgeon’s £250,000 project, we repaired worksurfaces, tiles, bathroom fittings, door frames, granite interiors and damaged metal window frames.
During the project, Plastic Surgeon helped BAM achieve its goal of halving waste to landfill, by using its VisibilITy reporting system to demonstrate how much potential construction waste had been saved from landfill by repairing. Plastic Surgeon saved BAM 54.7 tonnes of waste from landfill.
Cynon Valley Neighbourhood Hospital – £73 million scheme by Vinci Construction.
Addressing all the surfaces damaged across the 18,000 square metre building caused by the movement of materials and trades placed considerable workload on Vinci. Plastic Surgeon’s finishing contract, worth £143,000, helped to keep the project on schedule. Finishers removed scratches on glass, filled and rubbed down a large percentage of polyester powder coated frames, before re-spraying and lacquering and repaired doors, handles, sanitaryware, worktops and IPS panels.
Morgan Sindall, Parkside Community College.
Plastic Surgeon repaired sandstone cills, chipped when scaffolding was removed, and scratches to powder coated metal frame windows. The Contracts Manager commented: “Although I had been aware of Plastic Surgeon being used by our company, this was my first experience of the specialist service. It seems a very efficient approach to accessing a one-stop shop for snagging or remedial work.”
