OUR CORE VALUES

Our core business values: integrityexcellent service and empathy are very important to us. Our values serve as a guide to our people in their everyday interactions with customers, colleagues, partners and other stakeholders.

Excellence means that we are experts and knowledge leaders, that we strive for continuous improvement and apply best practices.

These values serve as a guide to our people in their everyday interactions with customers, colleagues, partners and other stakeholders.

INDUSTRY LEADERS

With over 25 years of experience in the business, we really are the UK’s largest surface damage repair specialist, employing over 250 finishers, covering the entire mainland UK. The quality of our workmanship is key to our ongoing success. We continually strive to improve the skills of our team and constantly look towards new technological developments to improve our offering..

Recently, we have focused on expanding our Learning and Development team. We have introduced a comprehensive mentoring and ongoing training programme for both our new starters and our continuous development learning.

IMPLEMENTING A STRUCTURED MENTORING PROGRAMME

Head of Learning and Development at Plastic Surgeon, James Winston explains the benefits that a structured training programme provides:

With the implementation of our new mentoring scheme, we now had a solid three month induction plan for every new starter. This allows them to gain the skills they require to start working in the field as well as enabling them to work alongside experienced finishers in a structured programme.  With these measures in place, we aim to provide the training and support to give our new starters the knowledge and confidence to develop throughout their career. We have tasked many of our more experienced finishers with the role of mentor. We utilise their skills and passion to motivate the newcomers and instill a strong foundation in their skillset, as they begin their journey with Plastic Surgeon.

Always at the forefront of training, we were the first company to introduce a professional qualification for our team. The NVQ Level 2 Surface Repair qualification is the benchmark for our new starters. We employee NVQ assessors to monitor and assess the learners and ensure skills are evidenced for review by the IQA.

SHAPING OUR FUTURE SUCCESS

We take our core values very seriously and the excellent service that our finishers provide, together with our sales and admin support, will ensure our future success in the industry.
