Whirlpool bath repair hits the spot
Plastic Surgeon has formulated a special coating and process for replicating a factory applied gel coat to large damaged whirlpool baths on board cruise ships.
The damage is caused by tiny air pockets between the fibre-glass pools and the surface gel coat. Because the gel coats are porous, water gradually seeps through into any air holes beneath and starts to form a mould growth, causing black spots.
The process involves completely removing the surface coating, before starting the whirlpool bath repair.
